Network with other self-employed and privately employed occupational therapists
Membership is open to occupational therapists who are self-employed, running their own businesses, employed privately, or employed in the statutory sector. More than 50% of new members are still working in the statutory sector when they join us and a large number of our members continue to work, to some extent, for the NHS or Social Services.
Membership gives you access to
a national network of occupational therapists working on behalf of, and in partnership with, COT Specialist Section
- Independent Practice.
Exchange, share, and disseminate information via our e-bullitin, newsletters, and study days. Take advantage of numerous CPD opportunities for occupational therapists in independent practice. We maintain
good standards of practice amongst independent practitioners working outside the statutory services
.
