English Board and COT Officer
Members of the English Board report on the activity of the English regions and share best practice
The English Board is formed from the English Regional Committees and one representative from each sits on the Board. BAOT/UNISON stewards in England also have one seat on the Board. The Board elects one person from its members to sit on BAOT/COT Council and report between the Board and Council to ensure clear communication between the two. BAOT members are welcome to attend the English Board as observers.
Vacancies on the English Board are published every January
Potential members of the English Board are nominated for three year terms. The dates of nominations and elections are published in OTnews and on the BAOT website each January for roles to commence in June.
