Registration for the 2012 National Parkinson's Audit is now open
The National Parkinson’s Audit is open to all healthcare professionals working with people with Parkinson’s, including occupational therapists. The audit is recognised by the Department of Health - Quality Accounts Programme.
A total of 64 occupational therapy services, auditing 801 clients, participated in the 2011 audit and we want to help more services!

A Life More Ordinary ‘provides a summary of the main findings from the Long-term Neurological Conditions Research Initiative (LTNC RI). The Initiative was funded by the Department of Health's Policy Research Programme (DH PRP) in 2006, following the launch of the DH National Service Framework (NSF) in 2005.’ (Winchcombe 2012 p9).
BAOT/COT and The Stroke Association developing new stroke web tool
BAOT/COT is working with The Stroke Association to develop a new web tool that will signpost stroke survivors to the help they may need in their recovery after stroke.

With Christmas a distant memory and Easter approaching we wanted to remind all Neurological Practice members to update any changes in their email, address, name and/or place of work on the database. This is particularly important right now as many NHS email addresses have been changed.
Doing this will ensure that they continue to receive relevant professional information and a reminder for when to renew their membership.
