RCOT are working together with Macmillan Cancer Support and Quality Health on a survey to collect workforce data about occupational therapists and support workers who contribute to assessing, treating and supporting adults living with cancer, whether in cancer specialist or generalist roles.
This information will help to produce a fuller picture of how occupational therapists and support workers provide assistance to people with cancer as part of wider multi-disciplinary teams, and what additional support might be made available to them to do so confidently.
If you haven’t participated yet, the survey is available to complete until Friday 22 December and a report of the results will be published in early 2018 which will be shared with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists on completion.
Should you have any queries about the survey then please contact Quality Health on:
- Freephone helpline number - 0800 783 1775
- Email: info@quality-health.co.uk
If you have broader questions about the objectives for this AHP workforce survey then please contact Ross Matthews, Workforce Project Manager at Macmillan Cancer Support on RossMatthews@macmillan.org.uk who will be able to assist.
RCOT are encouraging all members to take part in this the survey and contribute to this valuable research.
