Activity Matters toolkit
This toolkit is designed to support occupational therapists in implementing National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) Public Health Guidance 16: Occupational therapy interventions and physical activity interventions to promote the mental wellbeing of older people in primary care and residential care (2008)
Based on the NICE guidance this toolkit offers occupational therapists working UK wide resources such as outcome measures, practical materials and further reading to support the promotion of mental wellbeing and healthy, active ageing. Overall the toolkit aims to support occupational therapists with:
- ideas for implementation
- collecting data to champion occupational therapy interventions and services.
- developing an ongoing resource base
