Membership & External Affairs Board
The Membership and External Affairs Board provides strategic guidance to BAOT/COT Council on membership policy, services, publications, communications, marketing and international affairs
The Membership and External Affairs Board's principle responsibilities are to provide a UK-wide strategic focus on policy initiatives related to membership and external affairs and to ensure that international matters - particularly in relation to the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) and the Council of Occupational Therapists for the European Countries (COTEC) - are dealt with.
The Board supports the delivery of Council's strategic aims and business plan and provides a line of accountability to BAOT members through the range of stakeholders who are members of the Board and directly to Council via the board chairman. The Board carries out member research and leads on the development of high quality services that are responsive to the needs of members and contributes to the organisation's business and operational planning cycle.
