The College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section – Children, Young People & Families

For the development of Occupational Therapy for children, young people and their families with physical, mental health and lerning needs.
We have members working across a wide range of areas:

The Children, Young People & Families Specialist Section is one of the largest Specialist Section of the College of Occupational Therapists and currently has in excess of 800 members.

NEC

‘The NEC next meets on 26th September 2008 at the College of Occupational Therapy.

Specialist Section Clinical Forum -

Currently attended by Eve Hutton and Jacqui Casey; this group meets 3 times a year and is made up of representatives of each specialist section.This group deals with issues relating to clincial issues such as research, practice and education. A quaterly report is submitted to this group.

Specialist Section Business Forum -

Currently attended by Louise Nicholl. This group meets twice a year and is also made up of representatives from each specialst section. This group deals with business issues such as finance, publicity and conference.
