There are currently 4 network CAMHS groups that are recognised by COTSS for Children, Young people and Families. These are
South and South West regional group
North West regional group
London and South East regional group
East Midlands Regional group
Each group meets regularly and provides support to the CAMHS OTs in that area. Each network can use the website to give information about their activities and as a contact point. If you are part of a network group that is not included on the list then please contact me for more information about how to use this website to improve communication and contact other networks
As CAMHS Rep I am responsible for representing CAMHS issues on the NEC.
Developments for 2007/8 will include:
- Coordinating a bi annual meeting for the chairs of the CAMHS networks to provide a national link between networks;
- Establishing what financial support may be available from the specialist section in relation to networks;
- Improving access to the database to provide information and a communication network to improve communication for and between networks about study events, evidence based practice and research;
- To have better links with the NEC conference planning committee to ensure that there is a CAMH element to the specialist section national conference;
- To continue representing Children, Young People and Families on the Young Minds Committee.
- Developing and updating the website as a means for communication and networking
If you have any questions or have any ideas about how things may develop in the future then please do not hesitate in contacting me at: tracey.winsor@awp.nhs.uk
