Promotes liaison with service users, professional bodies and providers of housing to achieve good functional design both in new builds and adaption of existing property. Regional meetings provide an information source and education.

Was established by OTs working in private practice who wished to meet and discuss business ideas of common interest. As the organisation grew, regional groups were set up to address members needs more directly. Regional representatives now provide two-way communication with the National Committee.

An organisation which is committed to the promotion of professional practice, support, communication and the exchange of information. The membership consists of OTs working in child and adolescent mental health, community settings, eating disorders, forensic, in-patients, homelessness, older persons in mental health, psychiatric intensive care, psychological aspects of mental health, and substance misuse.

Aims to promote good practice in occupational therapy with neurological conditions. The Specialist Section has active members who are willing to support the group and development of new ideas in the field of neurology.

Most OTs work with elderly patients at some point in their career. We all have a responsibility to keep up-to-date with clinical issues. This Specialist Section draws together therapists from all fields of physical and psychiatric care. Members work in all settings - hospital, day care facilities, residential homes, community practice and social services.
