Ongoing projects include the recent development of Guidance Documents for Occupational Therapists in the Management of Breast and Lung Cancers, which will be going out for consultation shortly.

- Improve skills in documentation and recording of intervention and outcomes in a clinical area that does not always fit into the traditional rehabilitative model
- Increase understanding of the implications of body image issues and the role of the Occupational Therapist in addressing these issues
- Provide an opportunity for networking and support for Occupational Therapists working in this field
- Increase Occupational Therapists' motivation and confidence in working in this challenging clinical area
- Provide an opportunity to share best practice in oncology and palliative care
