One of the biggest advantages of membership is the opportunity to link with locality groups. Locality groups may differ in their individual style and organisation, but their aims are uniform in that they:
- Provide a local group for networking, peer supervision, sharing ideas, developing research projects, promoting CPD opportunities
- Provide a point of contact with the National Executive Committee via the appointed link person
