National Committee
The role of the National Executive Committee is to coordinate the work of the Specialist Section throughout the country and to represent members' views and interests at COT and on relevant government initiatives.
Over the last few years we on the Committee have listened to our members and funded a number of projects through the Clinical Forums to help clinicians maintain and promote best practise within the field of Neurology.
These include:
- National Clinical Guidelines for Stroke - OT concise guide for stroke
- A Multidisciplinary Stroke Package : Occupational Therapy Section
- Occupational Therapy Standards for Stroke
- Standards of Practice for O.Ts working with people having TBI
- Standards of Practice for O.Ts working with people having chronic and/or progressive Neurological Disorders
- NANOT Fatigue management pack
- NANOT Stroke Patient Information Leaflets
- Occupational Therapy and Stroke book
The College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section – Neurological Practice is keen to support new clinical projects for 2005-2006 and we would like your input on what these should be. Please email any ideas to chair@ssnp.co.uk.
