BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy: The 3 year full-time and 4 year part-time modular programmes are delivered through a range of lectures, tutorials, interactive seminars and practical workshops, with the focus being on occupation and health. MSc Occupational Therapy (Pre-Registration): On this newly developed modular programme you can gain the knowledge and experience to be eligible to register with the Health Professions.

Some employers have in-house training available for their support staff
Many occupational therapy support staff study for vocational awards, such as an NVQ/SVQ. There are also other options available such as a BTEC in Occupational Therapy Support, foundation degrees in Health and Social Care or the Higher National Certificate in Occupational Therapy Support.
At the time of writing, two courses are endorsed by the College of Occupational Therapists – the HNC in Occupational Therapy Support at Langside College in Glasgow, and the distance learning Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care through the Open University.

Glyndwr University, Wrexham - BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy
The programme structure allows a sequential development of practical and academic skills facilitated via a range of dynamic learning, teaching and assessment methods.
Cardiff University - BSc (Hons) and Post-Graduate Diploma Occupational Therapy
BSc (Hons): Based on an integrated spiral, modular curriculum which takes a holistic view of service users, integrating theory with practice. It is divided into three levels of study, each level equating to 120 credits.
Post -Graduate Diploma: This programme is divided into modules that explore three central themes, professional studies in occupational therapy, practice placement in occupational therapy and life cycle studies.
Bangor University - Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Therapy
This two year programme is divided into modules that explore three central themes - professional studies in occupational therapy, practice placement and professional practice modules.
Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh - BSc (Hons) and PgDip/MSc Occupational Therapy
BSc (Hons) programme: Approximately one third of the course is devoted to practicebased learning.
PgDip/MSc programme: With the exception of the fi rst semester students are in the practice placement setting at least two days per week for the duration of their programme, allowing a unique opportunity to integrate theory and practice.
